In the following email thread from the Epstein files, Annemarie Bemis, Executive Assistant to the President at Bard, sends Leon Botstein's passport information to a redacted contact (Jeffrey Epstein's assistants are redacted in the files) with the subject "Re: Jeffrey Epstein" ahead of Leon Botstein's visit to Epstein's island in December 2012.
The redacted emailer forwarded the email to Melanie Spinella, assistant to Leon Black.
The Times-Union just published the following file in a bigger piece about Leon Botstein's relationship with Jeffrey Epstein:
In 2018, "President"/"Bard President" told Jeffrey Epstein that he would ask his daughter to contact a redacted person to help Jeffrey Epstein with "the High Schools/Early College stuff."
There are 2,556 search results when searching "leon botstein" in the Epstein files. The following screenshot is from yesterday February 4, 2026, I include it in case any of the files get taken down. I read approximately 180 of the files yesterday and found two above. It appears that Jeffrey Epstein and Leon Botstein primarily spoke over the phone during their "Phone Dates" (see below) and in person.
